UK Gear PT-03
The first commercial product, which will be co-produced with the British Army, is UK Gear's PT-03 running shoes with a British Army's crossed sword logo, which marks the British Army's approval. The PT-03 was developed by UK Gear for 18 months and the British Army's APTC (Army Sports Training Force) instructor participated in the design and testing of the shoe. This is a pair of high-performance running shoes designed for use on runways, highways or trails. PT-03 is available in two models: "NC" (Neutral Cushioning) and "SC" (Structured Cushioning); the former is suitable for those who require less structural support Person, the latter for those who seek to combine shock and support. Impression - I think PT-03 is pretty. Light gray mesh fabric with dark gray in the end, coupled with a little red reflective characteristics of the bar, composed of a pair of beautiful and not too gorgeous running shoes. The overall quality of the shoes looks like my other running shoes (Asics and Nike). My shoes are mostly 9 yards. PT-03 in front of a bit loose, but not most of the code so much, almost a quarter of a quarter of it. I also feel that, compared with ordinary running shoes, PT-03 in the design more durable.
As mentioned before, the tongue on the tongue with a ring to ensure that the tongue is always fixed in place. There are three rings, each time wearing shoelaces, shoelaces through the three rings. The lace is used instead of the hole, so the shoelaces are smaller across the upper. This lace way coupled with the tongue ring, resulting in almost no space into a finger to tighten or adjust the shoelaces. I found that if you do not first release the top of the shoelaces, it is difficult to adjust the toe near the lace elastic. In order to avoid this problem, I only use the top of the tongue ring will be fixed in place in the tongue, and let the shoelaces exposed in the bottom. As a result, adjusting the shoelaces becomes much easier, and I have not found any movement of the tongue.
PT-03 comes with an insole (EVA insole) that is a standard foam insole that provides a little cushioning, but does not provide support. I often find myself to discard many shoes insole, replaced by green Superfeet & in; insoles, this insoles provide greater support strength, but also has a high arch. I was over the feet of the spin, but I was not flat enough - I had a tall bow. I ran about 20 miles in PT-03 to see if I still need more support, and then I replaced the EVA insoles with green Superfeet & insole, and the support problems were solved. This is not the PT-03 SC's shortcomings, but I seriously over-degree of internal rotation of the shoes more than the degree of tolerance in the design of these shoes. Slightly moderate to moderate over-rotation should be satisfied with PT-03 SC.
